Looking for expressions of interest from new Board members to assist in developing and supporting the Arts in Clonmel

Clonmel Junction Arts Festival is seeking new Board of Director members. We are interested in people with experience in one or any of the following:development and fundraising, financial management, and sustainability.

We are looking for people with an interest in the town of Clonmel and a firm belief in the importance of artists, creatives, and the arts to society, a commitment to our Mission, Vision, Values, and Purpose as outlined in ourArtistic Statement and a willingness to volunteer your time to serve on ourBoard of Directors and various sub-committees.

The Board meet via Zoom, with an in-person AGM, so a presence in Clonmel is not necessary, although it would be useful to understand the context of an arts organisation in a regional context.

The Arts Council of Ireland have information here as a practical guide for Board members of arts organisations.

One or more of the following are essential to us an organisation:

• An understanding of the funded arts sector and environment in theRepublic of Ireland

• Experience of development and fundraising for charity

• A good knowledge of governance as it applies to charities
