Margaret Galvin Reading

Margaret Galvin, a native of Cahir, Co. Tipperary  and former Editor of Ireland's Own, will read from her recently published collection of poetry and prose, Our House, Delirious

Published by Revival Press, Limerick this collection comprises poetry written in an accessible, narrative style and a  number essays broadcast on Sunday Miscellany.

Many of the pieces are located in her native Tipperary and deal with the people, places and events that were central to her formative years there in the 60's and 70's. Dr. Richard Hayes of the University of the South East  describes her work as "finely wrought, skilfully constructed and utterly compelling".
