In The Dreemplace

The concert will feature music that encompasses the range of Doyle's career, from his own solo piano performance of his music from film and theatre (including Budawanny, Salome and more).

Derbhle Crotty will perform a live rendition of her extract from Doyle's recent albums Finnegans Wake - Suite Of Affections Vols 1 & 2, accompanied by music by Doyle. Writer Sebastian Barry notes "the music excerpt and reading are absolutely stunning and...do a great service to the spirit of Joyce".

Finally, Clonmel Junction Festival are delighted to host the world premiere of Roger Doyle's new commision from the festival of a 30 minute composition for violinist Aoife Ni Bhriain and backing track, called In The Dreemplace, inspired by Finnegans Wake.
