Writing a Superhero - Children's Workshop
| |  Calling all young writers and readers ! Do you have ideas you would love to get down on paper? Would you like help to make your stories, plays and poems really great? Have you ever wondered what grown-up writers do?
Then the Writing Room, part of Cafés Carte Blanche at 2009 Junction Festival, Clonmel, is the place for you. We are inviting all young writers age 9 and over to take part in Writing a Superhero, an exciting workshop led by children’s writer and poet Grace Wells. The workshop will run on Saturday 4th July from11.30am-1pm. Grace will be inspiring children to create brand new superheroes, and will introduce young writers to the art of making characters truly super! Any children who take part in this workshop can set up individual sessions later on in the week with Mia Gallagher, host of the Writing Room, to have a chat about how their work is coming along.
