Clonmel Junction Festival runs a volunteers' programme for enthusiastic and committed individuals who are willing to help during the festival. Likewise a trainees' programme has been developed for the Cafés Carte Blanche project which offers a unique learning and training opportunity for young people and arts enthusiasts who wish to explore or develop a specific area of interest.

Become a Trainee

The volunteers scheme is now closed as we have the full complement of personnel needed. There are still a number of places left on the trainee scheme. If you are interested in becoming a trainee, please send in your application form as soon as possible or come to the briefing meeting for trainees which will take place on Tuesday 22nd at 17.30 at Old Chadwick's building. For more info on trainee scheme, go to http://www.junctionfestival.com/Trainee-Application-Form.pdf

To become a trainee you will need to:
- Be available for at least four hours per day from 28th June to 11th July 2010
- Have some experience or interest in the area of choice
- Be willing to help out with the running of the café
- Fill out the Trainee Application Form and pay registration fee of €20 (more information provided in the form)
For more details on each area's planned activities, check out the Cafés Carte Blanche page.

Become a Volunteer

Volunteering is a marvelous way to explore possible career options, discover new skills and talents, make new friends and contacts and develop self-confidence to boot. This year's volunteers scheme includes 3 teams: the Chadwicks team in the old Chadwicks building, which will host the Junction theatre, the Playlounge, the café and in the Yard, the picnic area, as well as a circus tent in the backyard; the production team, which will support the technical crew with different jobs including the finale Charivari, and the hospitality team, a new area that will look after artists' accommodation and Junction's new canteen that will be set up in Chadwicks yard.

Being a volunteer or trainee entitles you to the following benefits:
- Free Festival T-shirt
- Badge with free access to three shows and special €5 rate thereafter
- Special 50% rate at our daily festival canteen in Chadwick's yard
- Trainees will also be given a special achievement certificate.
Please note that you can send the forms to anissa@junctionfestival.com. You can also get and return them from/to our administrative office or The Common Thread Café, 15 Parnell Street, Clonmel.
