Junction Festival are looking to recruit 8 to 10 young dancers who are interested in Hip Hop and Urban dance to support and assist in the Café Carte Blanche project during the Festival. If selected, you will be involved in running ‘The Break Station’, a Hip Hop dance café; during that time you will also have the opportunity to support the design of an event, showcase your work and/or deliver a workshop. You do not need to have prior experience of supporting or staging events as you will be mentored by Upswing, a dance and circus performance company based in London. All you will need is the passion to create a fabulous space for young people in the heart of Clonmel. You need to be available for at least four hours a day from 29th June to the 11th July to be part of The Break Station team. In addition to being mentored with your dance ideas and assisting with classes, you will be expected to help, run and maintain the Café space.
