Emmet formed the band, Emmet Scanlan & What the Good Thought, two years ago in Galway. The unusual combination of instruments, including vocals, guitar, cello, bass, congas, bongo and an array of other percussive implements, has created quite a unique and. The band have enjoyed quiet a successful career including performances at the Olympia Theatre and Electric Picnic and were described as “one of the highlights” in the 2006 Galway Arts Festival.
