The Space Time Machine youth-specific venue @ Chadwicks will have a programme of events devised by teenagers participating in the workshop programme including workshops, film screenings, and music showcases. Access to The Space Time Machine is restricted to members. Membership is available at Chadwicks and the Box Office.

This unique environment will be ideal for young people to congregate and meet for the duration of the Festival.

“The Space Time Machine” is an exciting new departure for Junction Festival which incorporates a three week workshop aimed at 4th and 5th year students from the Clonmel schools. It consists of research, training and building of a space time machine sculpture, and culminates in a week long youth venue for Junction Festival.

Working with artist Lyn Mather in collaboration with street artist Majeck Ciesack, and with IT support from Tipperary Institute, young people will explore issues of time travel, projecting themselves into the past and future to tell us about their dreams and aspirations.
