With the World Cup coming to a climax during the Junction this year The Polish Community Movement offered a friendly challenge to the soccer fraternity of Clonmel to show their mettle! Fethard ceramicist Doirin Saurus has been commissioned to make a trophy which will be awarded to the winning team....for a year at least, and who knows we might find more teams to compete for it in the years to come.

Club4U Band Showcase

The Junction Festival have joined forces with Club4U who have been successfully running youth events in Clonmel for two years, to run this Young Band Showcase in Dannos Five local bands will be selected from demo CD’s sent in by the bands. Each band will have 25 minutes on stage and must include at least one original song in their set. Soda bar only.
