Freddie White
In Ireland, Freddie White is something of a legend. Born in Cobh, County Cork, into a musical family, he was playing in school bands by age thirteen and by seventeen, playing professionally. At nineteen, he moved to London, busking in subways and playing in clubs, where he developed his unique voice and guitar style.
His most recent album 'Four Days in May', launched last autumn, is one of the most successful of Freddie White’s albums, to date. Freddie’s latest offering proves that he remains one of Ireland’s most individual artists, with the ability to deliver recordings of the highest quality. After over a decade of living Stateside, Freddie returned to his native Cork at the start of this year.
