Alafia
Alafia will give several concerts in Clonmel during the week as one of the resident international bands. In Lonergans they have their only concert performance.
The name Alafia, means state of joy, state of well-being in Yoruba dialect, The band play tropical music that warms up the audience’s hearts and bodies. The musical richness of the singing, the energy released by the percussions, the groovy sharpness of the guitars and the brass are a genuine invitation to celebration and dance.
