THE CAVE W/ JESCA HOOP & ROSIE CARNEY
SAT 08 JULY / 8PM
Jesica Hoop is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist whose style has been characterised as largely experimental with folk, rock, and electronic influences. Her early mentor, Tom Waits, described it as, "like a four-sided coin. She is an old soul, like a black pearl, a good witch or a red moon. Her music is like going swimming in a lake at night". Her latest album ‘Memories Are Now’ wastes no time in making clear its confidence, confrontation and craftsmanship.
20 year old Donegal based singer/songwriter Rosie Carney was born in the UK before moving to Ireland when she was 10. Rosie began to play music after being Inspired by the vast, rugged landscapes of her coastal hometown Downings. With over 2 million plays on Spotify, and making it into NPR’s Top 100 song list she is a musician set to delight the audience in the intimate surroundings of the cave.
