LAY OF THE LAND
FRI 07 - SUN 09 JULY / 8 PM
Lay of the Land is a visual arts organisation creating site responsive projects in Ireland. Using Clonmel’s townlands and surrounding hinterland as their backdrop, Lay of the Land will produce a powerful, imaginative and considered project that encourages artists and their practice to engage with the landscape while forging deeper connections with the local community and the history and heritage of that landscape.
Lay of the Land will create work that directly responds to the land, the Black Sheep theme and ‘A Message in Time’ exhibition. Their creative output from the week will be added to the Tipperary County Museum exhibition after the festival. You are welcome to come and watch them work on Saturday and Sunday in Kickham Barracks.
SUNDAY 09 JULY / 10AM-4PM

The workshop will involve experimenting with a mixture of natural and found materials through the weaving process. Materials provided.
