CHANNON BLACKSMITHS

FREE

James Earley has been painting since 1997 with a distinctive style that both celebrates and pays homage to his family's long and rich past within stained glass art. His approach to his work draws on his background in urban art and graphic design. In 2014, James painted Blooms Hotel, the project took one year to complete and is the largest public artwork in Ireland to date. He has traveled extensively with his art and has worked on a variety of large-scale projects throughout Ireland and abroad.  CJF17 together with Tipperary County Museum are thrilled to welcome James to Clonmel to create a permanent art piece on the side of the Blacksmiths on Anglesea Street. James will work on the wall over the festival and you are invited to come and watch him complete the work on Saturday the 8th July between 2-4pm.
